Possible problems that occur later

The tissue grown can sometimes grow into a cyst which can lean to bone loss in your jaw.
If the tooth is falling on a side under the gum, it destroys the teeth and eats away the roots.
Bacteria can accumlate around the tooth thats only a part out.

After that they will use a tool called elevator to loosen the tooth and they pull out with dental forceps.
After Extraction
Then they clean the area with gauge to stop the bleeding. You feel painful and inflamed for few days. After the extraction you should not brush or rinse your teeth for 24 hrs. Gargling with salt water for every 2 hours for a week after 24 hours should be done.
Surgical Extraction
If the tooth is still below the gum line, then it should be removed by surgical process. In this process also Anesthisia is given but it giving in higher dosage since the extraction is more painful. The dentist may cut open the gum and remove the tooth bone to get to the root. In order to do that they cut the tooth into pieces to keep the hole as small as possible.
